Contents

This policy covers the Projects Launcher 2 desktop app (version 2.0.0 and later) and our Android app (version 0.2.0 and later). Older versions of Projects Launcher may work differently. The Friends section applies to every Projects Launcher app, desktop or Android, in which you use that feature, and the 24/7 Cloud section to our paid 24/7 Cloud service; the Android app is described in its own section, and the other sections are about the desktop app. We have no app for iOS; on iPhone and iPad our website only points to Minecraft's official app. The 24/7 Cloud section also covers the afk.projects.gg website. Our game servers and mc.projects.gg are covered by the data protection notice on mc.projects.gg (in Turkish); the Projects skin and account linking on our game servers are also described in the Friends section.

  • The launcher does not collect or send telemetry, analytics or usage data. The one exception is world sharing's connection health measurements, which carry no name, IP address or world name.
  • Unless you turn on Friends, the launcher sends no personal data to our servers; it only downloads public files from them.
  • Your passwords and sessions stay on your computer, in the operating system's secure store.
  • Showing your game activity on Discord is on by default; you can turn it off in Settings.

What stays on your computer

  • Microsoft sessions and AFK account passwords are kept in the operating system's secure credential store (Windows Credential Manager, macOS Keychain or Linux Secret Service). Only your user account on that computer can access them.
  • Account list, installations and settings are kept in the launcher's data folder; these files contain no tokens or passwords.
  • The installation ID is used only on your computer to place you in staged update rollouts, and it is never sent anywhere.
  • A support bundle is saved as a zip file on your computer only when you create one; tokens and passwords in it are masked. It goes nowhere unless you share it.

Our servers

  • The launcher downloads news, home screen content, the official modpack, the AFK client and launcher updates from our content servers (cdn.projects.gg, feed.projects.gg and projects.gg, on Cloudflare) or from our backup mirror on GitHub. These requests only download public files; no account data, passwords, installation ID or usage data is sent. The requests contain nothing that identifies you; the launcher only reports its own version number.
  • Update checks run automatically shortly after the launcher starts and then about every 6 hours.
  • For the server status on the home screen, a standard Minecraft status query is sent to play.projects.gg once a minute while the launcher window is in front. No query is made while the game is running, and the query contains no player data.
  • As with any internet connection, your IP address is visible to the infrastructure that serves these requests (Cloudflare or GitHub).

Third-party services

The launcher contacts the following services only for the purposes listed. Data sent to them is subject to their own privacy policies.

  • Microsoft and Xbox Live: to sign in with your Microsoft account, renew the session, get your Minecraft license and profile, and change your skin and cape. Sign-in tokens and skins you upload to your Microsoft account are sent only to Microsoft, Xbox and Minecraft services. The Minecraft game's own data collection is also covered by Microsoft's privacy statement. Microsoft Privacy Statement
  • Mojang (Minecraft): to download game versions, libraries, game files and Java, to show skin and cape images, and to get a premium player's skin for a Projects skin. Nothing about your account is sent; a skin lookup sends only the player name you type. Minecraft privacy page
  • Mod loaders and library repositories (Fabric, Quilt, Forge, NeoForge, Maven Central): to download the mod loader you choose for an installation and the libraries it needs. No personal data is sent.
  • Modrinth: to search for, download and check updates of mods, resource packs and shaders. Your search text and the hashes of the add-on files in your installation are sent. Images on mod pages are loaded from Modrinth or GitHub. A Modrinth modpack (.mrpack) you import downloads its files from the addresses listed in the pack. Modrinth Privacy Policy
  • Discord: if the Discord app is running on your computer, to show what you are doing in the launcher on your Discord profile (Rich Presence). The launcher passes the section you are in, the installation name, the Minecraft version and mod loader, when you started playing and, if "Bağlandığım sunucuyu göster" (show the server I joined) is on, the server's player count and, for servers other than Projects, the server address to the Discord app on your computer; Discord shows this on your profile. This is on by default. You can turn it off in Settings with "Discord'da oyun durumunu göster" (show game activity on Discord), or hide only the server with "Bağlandığım sunucuyu göster". Discord Privacy Policy
  • mclo.gs (Aternos GmbH): only when you choose to share a game log and confirm. The end of the selected log is uploaded; access tokens, passwords and your computer's user name are masked before the upload. Your player name, UUID, chat messages and server addresses may remain in the log. Anyone with the resulting link can see the log. mclo.gs Privacy Policy
  • Cloudflare: our content servers (cdn.projects.gg, feed.projects.gg and projects.gg) run on Cloudflare. Also, if your computer's DNS settings cannot be read, the server address for the status query is resolved with Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 DNS service. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
  • GitHub: our backup mirror for content and updates is on GitHub; the launcher downloads from it when our content server cannot be reached. Some images in mod descriptions are also loaded from GitHub. GitHub General Privacy Statement
  • Minecraft servers: when you start the game, it sends your player name and account ID to the server it joins, as Minecraft normally does. The Projects installation joins our play.projects.gg server by default; the rules of our servers are in our agreement (Turkish). AFK accounts connect to the server you choose (play.projects.gg by default) with the player name and login commands you saved, when you connect them or automatically for accounts with auto-start turned on. The launcher turns off the AFK client's own error reporting.

Friends (optional online feature)

Friends is optional. Nothing is collected and the launcher does not connect to our friends server (social.projects.gg, on Cloudflare) unless you sign in with Discord in the launcher or on afk.projects.gg. Sign-in uses Discord and asks only for your basic profile (the identify scope). To protect sign-in against phishing, the pending sign-in (your Discord ID and a hash of the one-time code) is shown to no one; it is deleted when the launcher or the site picks it up, stops working after 5 minutes otherwise and is deleted the next day.

When you sign in, our server keeps:

  • Your Discord ID, username, display name and a hash of your avatar: for your account, so friends recognise you, and for "Discord'dan mesaj at" (message on Discord). Seen by your friends, people you send requests to, anyone who knows your friend code, your crewmates in your crews and, in a crew you ask to join, those who may answer requests. Updated at every sign-in; kept until you delete your account or do not use it for 12 months. An account without friends, crews, pending friend requests or crew invites is deleted after 90 days without use (30 days while our server's storage is nearly full).
  • Your friend code: for adding friends; seen by the people you share it with. Kept with your account and renewable at any time.
  • Your profile picture choice, status (online, do not disturb, invisible) and privacy settings: seen by your friends, and your profile picture also by your crewmates in your crews; while invisible your status is shown to no one. Kept with your account.
  • The day your account was created, your last activity and last seen (day only): for deleting unused accounts and to show friends a rough "last seen" (today, yesterday, this week, a long time ago). Last seen is visible only to friends, can be turned off and does not advance while you are invisible.
  • Your sessions (a hash of the session token, the device name the launcher reports, the days it was opened and last used): for sign-in and the sessions list; only you see them. Deleted when you sign out, end the session or after 90 days without use. The session token itself stays on your computer, in the operating system's secure credential store.
  • Friendships and pending requests: seen by the two people involved. You and your crewmates in your crews can also send each other friend requests without a code. Kept until removed or until either account is deleted; pending requests for at most 30 days.
  • Blocks: to protect you from harassment and unwanted requests; only the person who blocks sees them. A block placed without a friendship or request is not listed even for you. A block on someone without an account keeps an irreversible hash instead of their Discord ID. Kept until the block is lifted or the blocker's account is deleted (also when it is deleted for lack of use).
  • Settings backup: only your launcher preferences (at most 16 KB, stored compressed), the device name and time; to bring your settings to a new computer. Only you see it; deleted when you turn the backup off or delete your account.
  • Your friend categories (category names and order, which friend is in which category): to organise your friends list and show it the same on all your devices; only you see them. When a friendship ends, the entry about that friend is deleted; all of it is deleted with your account. Whether a category is open or collapsed is kept only on your computer.
  • Your crews (for each: its name, tag, motto, emblem, colour and frame, crew code, founding day, join setting (whether those who come with the code or the link join at once or after approval), "Visibility" setting (whether members may wear the crew's tag), "Requests from the tag" setting (whether members' friends may ask to join from the tag's card) and permissions, that is who may invite, remove members, call the crew and make plans, edit its look, and answer join requests and manage the invite link; its members, their roles (leader, moderator, member) and when they joined): seen by your crewmates in that crew. By default you can be in up to 5 crews; Projects may change this limit, and lowering it keeps the memberships you have. Only you see the order of your crews. A friend invited to a crew, or someone who knows its code or invite link, sees only its name, tag, motto, emblem, colour, frame, number of members and whether joining needs approval; there is no crew search. Leaving a crew, being removed or deleting your account deletes that membership with its order and mute. A crew is deleted when its leader disbands it or its last member leaves; if the leader's account is deleted, the longest-standing moderator, or else the longest-standing member, becomes the leader. The time you play together with your crewmates is kept only on your computer; it is not sent to our server. If you link your Discord account on forum.projects.gg, you can also see and manage your crews on the forum (found a crew, join with a code or invite link, answer invites and join requests, leave a crew, wear a tag, chat with your crew). The forum's server does this only on your behalf and under the launcher's rules. When you open crew chat on the forum, the forum's server keeps the last 50 messages it read (with their senders' names) for at most 2 days, to show the page quickly. The forum's crew page links to the forum profiles of members who linked their Discord account there: if you did too, crewmates who open the crew page on the forum see your forum profile. Unless your crew's leader hides it, the crew's name, tag, colour, frame, emblem, motto, founding month and number of members show on its public card and page on forum.projects.gg; its members, leader, code and invite link do not. If you linked your Discord account on the forum, your profile's About tab lists your crews that are not hidden; if you wear a crew's tag, your name shows on that crew's page among those who wear it. The forum keeps this public crew information in a cache for a few minutes at most and deletes it after a day nobody looks at it; when a crew is hidden or Projects switches crew tags off, its card and page go within minutes.
  • The crew tag you wear (which of your crews' tag you show before your name): kept only if you choose one; by default no tag is worn, and you can wear one crew's tag at a time. Your friends and your crewmates in your crews see that crew's tag before your name and, on the tag's card, the crew's name, motto, emblem (with its colour and frame), number of members and founding day; they do not see its members. Unless the crew's leader turned "Requests from the tag" off, your friends may ask to join the crew from that card; those who answer join requests see that the request came through your tag. People you send a friend request to or get one from, anyone who knows your friend code and those who see your request to join a crew do not see your tag. Deleted when you take it off, when you leave or are removed from that crew, when its leader hides the crew, when Projects staff reset the crew's name, tag and motto, when the crew ends, when your account is banned or when you delete your account. The tag shows in Projects Launcher, the phone app and the in-game overlay. If you link your Discord account on forum.projects.gg, it also shows publicly before your name on the forum; there is no separate setting to turn this off. Our forum's server gets the crew's tag, name and colour for this and writes the tag into your forum profile. When you put a tag on, switch it or take it off in the launcher, your tag on the forum is updated within about 1 minute; a change you make on the forum reaches the launcher at once. For this our server keeps a tag change list: the Discord ID of a player whose tag changed (the crew's ID when the tag's card changes) and the time. Entries are deleted after 7 days; the newest entry stays until a newer one is added. From this list our forum's server gets the Discord IDs of the players whose tag changed and their current tag (the crew's ID, tag, name and colour), nothing else; it uses them only for members who linked their Discord account on the forum and keeps none of the others. If you delete your account, your tag leaves the forum within a day. It never shows in the game itself (name tags, the player list).
  • Crew invites (crew, inviter, invitee, time): seen by the friend you invite. Deleted when answered, when the crew ends, when either account is deleted, when the inviter leaves the crew or may no longer invite, and at the latest after 7 days.
  • Crew invite links (a random address a crew may make, which cannot be guessed): every member of the crew sees it and may pass it on; those who may answer join requests make, renew or switch it off. The link's page shows whoever opens it the crew's name, tag, emblem (with its colour and frame), number of members and whether joining needs approval; apps where the link is shared (Discord, for example) may show the same in a preview. Nothing is kept about who opens the page. Kept until the link is renewed or switched off, at the latest until the crew ends.
  • Crew join requests (when you ask to join a crew that approves newcomers, with its code or invite link, from the card of a tag a friend of yours wears or, on forum.projects.gg, from a crew's card with the forum account you linked your Discord account to: the crew, you, when you asked and, from a tag's card, the friend whose tag you saw): your request and your profile are seen by the crew's leader and moderators who may answer requests (the leader can keep this to themselves); you see your own requests. A declined request is not announced to you; it just leaves your list. A request from a tag's card or from the forum waits for approval even when the crew lets people in with its code at once. If the friend whose tag you saw deletes their account, they are taken off the request, which keeps waiting. A request is deleted when it is accepted, declined or withdrawn, when you and someone in the crew block one another or someone you have a block with joins it, when your account is suspended or banned, when the crew ends, when either account is deleted, and at the latest after 7 days.
  • Crew calls ("Call the crew": who called, which crews, when, the server the caller is on, and the answers "Coming", "Soon" and "Can't"): seen by your crewmates in those crews while the call is on; two people who blocked each other do not see each other's calls or answers. You can call your crew only while you are on a multiplayer server: projects.gg, or another server while "Show the address when I'm on other servers" is on. If you call your crew to another server, its address goes with the call to your crewmates in those crews, including those who are not your friends. An open call follows you: when you move to another server whose address you share, that address goes to the same crewmates. A call is kept only while it is on and deleted when it ends: it lasts at most 20 minutes and ends when the caller ends it, closes the game, switches to single player, is on a server whose address they do not share, goes offline or leaves those crews. For the call limits only how many times you called that day and when you last called are kept; that record is deleted the next day or with your account.
  • Crew plans ("Plans": the planned time, who made the plan and when, a short note its maker may add, and who answered "Coming", "Maybe" or "Can't"): seen by your crewmates in that crew; two people who blocked each other see neither the other's plans nor their answers. A note is a single line of at most 80 characters; links, phone numbers and offensive words are blocked automatically. The plan's maker can change or delete the note (only the latest version is kept); the crew's leader and moderators can delete it too. A plan, with its note, ends 2 hours after its planned time and is deleted in the next nightly clean-up; it is deleted at once when it is cancelled, when its maker leaves the crew or deletes their account, or when the crew ends. Your answer is deleted when you leave the crew or delete your account. For the plan limits only how many plans you made and how many answers or notes you changed that day are kept; that record is deleted the next day or with your account. Plan reminders are set on your own device only; plans are not sent to phones as notifications.
  • Chat and direct messages (crew chat and direct messages with your friends: the text you write, who wrote it, when it was written and edited, in which crew or with which friend, and a seal that shows a message is genuine): your crew chat messages are seen by your crewmates in that crew (those sent after they joined), your direct messages only by that friend; Projects staff see only reported messages and the up to 20 earlier messages sent with a report (for a reported reply, also the message it answers). Text and the ready-made stickers that come with the app can be sent, no pictures or files; risky links, phone numbers and offensive words are blocked automatically. Direct messages are only between mutual friends; when you block someone, you cannot message each other and you do not see each other's messages in crew chat. Messages are delivered at once; so that you get what you missed when you switch devices or are offline for a while, our server keeps the last 200 messages of each conversation, compressed, for at most 7 days and uses them for nothing else: messages older than 7 days are deleted every night. The real history stays on your own devices. You can edit your own message within 15 minutes of sending it (it shows as edited; only the latest version is kept) and delete it for everyone within 7 days; a crew's leader and moderators can delete messages in its crew chat too. When you leave a crew, its chat closes for you; when a crew ends, its chat is deleted. A message notification on your phone never carries the message text, only who sent it.
  • Chat extras (typing and seen receipts, replies, reactions, stickers): while you type, your friend or crewmates in the conversation see that you are typing; this is not stored. In direct messages, up to which of your friend's messages you have seen (only the latest) is kept in that conversation's record on the server and deleted with it once the conversation has been quiet for 7 days: your own devices use it to keep unread counts in step, and if "Seen receipts" is on your friend sees "Seen". Crew chat has no seen receipts; where you have read up to goes only to your own devices that are open at the time and is not stored. You can turn "Seen receipts" and "Typing indicator" off separately in the Friends settings; then you do not see other people's either. While you are invisible neither is sent, and someone you blocked or who blocked you never sees them. When you reply to a message, which message it answers (its ID and author) is kept with the reply; the quoted text is not copied. When you react to a message with an emoji (you can put at most 5 different emoji on one message), which message, which emoji and when are kept with the message, like the message for at most 7 days, and are seen by the people in that conversation (except someone you blocked or who blocked you). Stickers are ready-made pictures that come with the app: a message carries only the sticker's ID, no picture is uploaded and no outside service is asked for anything. If a reply, a reaction or a sticker is reported, what was reported (for a reply, also the message it answers) is kept with the report as evidence.
  • Links in chat: links that start with https:// can be sent. Risky links (such as link shorteners, IP addresses, IP grabbers, fake brand names, file links, adult and gambling sites) and sites Projects staff have blocked are turned away automatically. Our server fetches a link's preview (title, author, short description; a small picture only from trusted sites) from that site itself; your IP address is not sent to the site, which sees only our server's address. The preview is kept in the server's memory for at most 24 hours, tied to no one; the message itself carries only the address. When you open a link, the site opens in your browser and that site's own privacy policy applies.
  • Crew notifications: whether you muted crew notifications, for all your crews or crew by crew ("Mute", and until when), and whether crew call notifications are on are stored with your account, so they are the same on all your devices. Only you see them. They are deleted with your account.
  • Phone notifications (only if you allow notifications in the Projects Launcher phone app): your phone's notification address (a Firebase Cloud Messaging registration token), which app it is, which notifications you want and when it was registered. Used to bring friend requests, "Play together" invites, crew calls and direct messages to your phone while your launcher or app is not connected; while it is connected, nothing goes to the phone, and crew chat never sends phone notifications. Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers these notifications on our behalf. Google receives the kind of notification, who it is from (the sender's Discord ID and display name), who it is for (from version 0.4.5 of the app, a tag unique to that phone that can't be turned back into your ID, in earlier versions your Discord ID), its time, the server shared in an invite or a crew call, the IDs of the crews a call goes to and, to show or withdraw the notification, the invite's or crew call's ID and duration; there is no message text. Nothing is sent while you are on do not disturb; a crew call is not sent while you muted all crew notifications or every crew it goes to, or turned crew call notifications off; nothing comes from people you blocked or who blocked you. The registration is deleted when you turn notifications off in the app, sign out on that phone, leave the session unused for 90 days, delete your account, or when Google reports the address is no longer valid. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app's settings or your phone's settings.
  • "Birlikte oyna" (play together) invites (sender, recipient, time and, if it can be shared, the server): seen by the friend you invite. Delivered within 1 hour, deleted after 24 hours.
  • Your live status (in the launcher, in game, single player, the server address and the Minecraft version you play): shown to your friends; addresses of servers other than projects.gg only if you allow it, the version also while the address is hidden. Not stored; it is gone when the connection closes. Your crewmates in your crews see it too; crewmates who are not your friends see only whether you are in the launcher, in game, on projects.gg or in single player and the game's version, never the address of other servers (unless a crew call of yours carries it) or your last seen.

For reports and moderation, our server also keeps:

  • Reports (when you report a player, a crew or a chat message: who reported, what was reported, the reason, your optional note, where you saw it, the time and a copy of what you reported as it was then, that is a player's name and profile picture; a crew's name, tag, motto, code, look, number of members and leader; for a message, the message, up to 20 earlier messages of the same conversation and, for a reply, the message it answers; for a player reported from a crew plan, the plan's crew, time and note; for a player reported from a reaction, that reaction): Projects staff (the server owner and the people the owner authorises) review reports in our management app Projects Studio and, through our bot, in a private staff channel on our Discord server. Only staff in Studio see who sent a report; the reported person is never told, and the Discord channel does not name the reporter. A report is removed from the Discord channel after it is closed. Reports about staff are seen by the server owner only. For moderation, staff can also look up an account by friend code, crew code or Discord ID and see its details, crews, past reports and measures. You can also report a crew from the tag a friend or crewmate of yours wears; the person wearing it is not written into the report. Reports are deleted 90 days after they are closed.
  • Measures: staff may warn you, reset your profile picture or a crew's name, tag and motto (a reset crew's texts cannot be changed for 7 days), delete a message for everyone, disband a crew, mute you in chat, suspend the account from Friends for a time or ban it for good. A warning or profile reset notice is deleted once your launcher has shown it; the action itself stays in the moderation log. Records of mutes, suspensions and bans (until when, who imposed them and why, when and by whom they were lifted) are seen by staff; they are deleted 1 year after the measure ends or is lifted, and a ban stays until it is lifted.
  • The moderation log (which staff member did what, to whom or to what, when, from Studio or Discord, with the reason, their note and what changed): seen by staff only; kept for 12 months.

Projects skin and account linking: if you signed in to Friends with Discord, you can link your game account to your Discord account from the launcher. If you play with a username and that account is linked, you can also change its Projects skin from the launcher. ProBot, Projects' Discord bot, makes the link and passes the skin on to our game server. Linking from the launcher is the same as linking on Discord: a Discord account can be linked to only one game account.

  • Linking with a code: type "/discord eşle" in game; the game shows a 6-digit code, which you enter in the launcher. The code goes with your Discord ID and your game account's name from our Friends server to ProBot. It works once; our Friends server keeps it until ProBot takes it, for at most 10 minutes.
  • Linking in game without a code: if the in-game overlay is on, you can link your game account without typing a code. When a game started from the launcher connects to Projects, the launcher gets a short-lived link token from our Friends server, tied to your Discord account and that game account's name; the overlay passes it on to our game server. When you log in to our game server, or type "/discord eşle", instead of a code you get a confirmation window that only you can see; it shows your Discord display name and username. Our Friends server gives these two names to ProBot only so the window can show them. You are linked only if you confirm, and your username is then written to the link record, as with every link made on Discord; ProBot and our game server don't store your display name. If you decline, you won't be asked again for that game account for 30 days. The token lasts at most 30 minutes and works once. Your IP address isn't used for this linking.
  • The skin file: the launcher takes only the image from the PNG file you choose and sends a clean copy of it; nothing else in the file is sent. This copy, or the skin data of the premium player you pick, goes through our Friends server and ProBot to our game server. Once our game server has applied the skin, you see it the next time you join Projects. Our Friends server and ProBot keep the copy or the skin data only until the skin is applied, then delete it; if our game server cannot apply the skin within 25 hours, the change is cancelled and it is deleted all the same. To show the skin in game, our game server sends the PNG to MineSkin (mineskin.org), which turns it into a Minecraft texture (MineSkin Privacy Policy). Like every Minecraft skin, the texture is stored on textures.minecraft.net: anyone with its link can open it, and everyone in game sees it anyway. It isn't listed in MineSkin's public gallery. Our game server keeps your skin with your game account until you change it or it is reset.
  • A premium player's skin: when you type a premium player's name, the launcher asks only Mojang's own servers for the preview and the skin data. The skin is copied as it is at that moment; if that player changes their skin later, yours stays the same.
  • What is kept: our Friends server keeps the name and UUID of your linked game account, when it was linked and when the link was last confirmed. For your Projects skin it keeps its kind (your own file, a premium player's skin or the default skin), texture ID, arm model, the premium player's name if you picked one, when it changed and who changed it (you or staff). These are deleted when the link ends or your Discord account is linked to another game account; if staff banned your skin changes for a while, the ban's end time is kept until the ban ends.
  • Records and how long they are kept: for linking without a code, our Friends server keeps only an irreversible hash of the token, never the token itself; the hash is deleted when the token is used, or within 30 days at the latest if it is not. Our Friends server and ProBot keep, for 30 days, the list of game accounts where linking was declined. Our Friends server and ProBot keep a record of linking and skin actions (the kind, the game account, the result, the texture ID and the time) for 30 days. ProBot also keeps a list of the Discord accounts that use this feature, to pass link changes on to your launcher, until a year after their last use. Codes, tokens and skin files are not written to server logs.
  • Limits and staff: you can change your Projects skin at most 3 times a day; only applied changes count, and Projects may set this between 1 and 10. Projects staff may reset a skin that breaks the rules (it goes back to default) and ban skin changes for a while or permanently. A skin change ban applies to your game account and, if linked, your Discord account; your launcher tells you about a reset once. ProBot keeps the record of a reset (the player, the staff member) for 1 year and the record of a timed ban (the player, the staff member, how long the ban lasts) for 1 year after the ban ends; a permanent ban's record stays until the ban is lifted, and for at least 1 year from the day it was placed. A record that a ban was lifted is also kept for 1 year.
  • On your computer: for the preview and "Undo", the launcher keeps the current and the previous Projects skin of each account only on your computer; they are deleted when the account is removed from the launcher or renamed, or after 180 days without use.
  • Deleting: to remove your skin, the link and your Friends account, first remove your skin with "Back to default" in the launcher, then remove the link, and delete your Friends account last. You can remove the link at any time from the launcher, on Discord with "/eşleme kaldır" or in game with "/discord eşlemekaldır". "Back to default" removes your skin from the game; its Minecraft texture may stay on textures.minecraft.net, where no one finds it without its link.
  • Account deletion: when your Friends account is deleted ("Delete my data", or because it went unused), the data our Friends server keeps for Projects skins and linking is deleted at once; only your Discord ID stays, for at most 8 days, until ProBot has been told your account was deleted. ProBot then removes your Discord account from its list of accounts that use this feature and deletes the action records tied to it. ProBot's records tied to your game account (skin action records, the list of declined links, reset and ban records) are deleted when the periods given above end. The link itself stays with ProBot and your skin stays on our game server; deleting your Friends account doesn't remove them. To have your skin removed after deleting your account, write to the address under Contact.

New Discord accounts: if your Discord account is new (less than 7 days old by default; Projects may shorten this, extend it up to 30 days or remove the limit), your Friends account is a "Limited account" until your Discord account is that old. Until then you cannot create crews, make crew invite links or crew plans, send links in chat or change your Projects skin. Your daily limits for crew invites, chat messages, stickers, reactions and friend or crew code lookups are also lower, and no settings backup is kept. Only the creation time inside your Discord ID is used for this; nothing else is requested from Discord. Other players can't see that your account is limited.

Daily counters that prevent abuse are deleted the next day. Your IP address is used only momentarily by Cloudflare's flood protection and, while it is switched on, the sign-in check; it is not stored on our server. The sign-in check is a bot check that can be switched on if abuse grows: only while it is on, the sign-in page loads Cloudflare Turnstile, and Cloudflare uses information from your browser and your IP address to check whether a person is signing in (Cloudflare Privacy Policy); our server uses only the result.

Not collected: email, passwords, Discord tokens, Microsoft and Minecraft sessions, AFK accounts and login commands (for accounts you run on 24/7 Cloud, see the 24/7 Cloud section below), telemetry (except the connection health measurements described in the World sharing section below).

Your friends' profile pictures load from Discord's server (cdn.discordapp.com) when they use their Discord picture, or from Minecraft's texture server (textures.minecraft.net) when they use their Minecraft head; these servers see your IP address.

When you pick the Beta update channel, and when a launcher on Beta looks for updates, the friends service asks ProBot whether your Discord account holds the Ar-Ge (R&D) role on the Projects Discord. Only the yes or no answer is kept, for a few minutes in the service's memory, and it is never stored. The launcher keeps when Beta last let it in on this computer only.

"Verilerimi sil" (delete my data) in the launcher deletes everything about your account at once (except your 24/7 Cloud data and the tag change list, kept for 7 days), including your direct conversations (with their seen receipts), your messages in crew chats and your reactions on our server; messages already delivered may stay on the recipients' devices. This cannot be undone.

If you block someone, your block stays even if they delete their account. After their account is deleted, the record keeps an irreversible hash instead of their Discord ID; if they come back with the same Discord account, the block applies again. The record is deleted when you lift the block or delete your own account.

If you delete your account, everything about you is deleted (except your 24/7 Cloud data and the tag change list, kept for 7 days). Only the block records of people who blocked you, reports about you or sent by you, measures taken against you and the moderation log stay until their own time runs out. They keep an irreversible hash instead of your Discord ID, while a report's copy (your name, profile picture, reported messages and plan notes) and your name in the moderation log stay as they were. So those blocks, and a suspension, ban or chat mute that has not ended, still apply if you sign up again with the same Discord account.

World sharing (optional)

World sharing turns one of your singleplayer worlds into a game that mutual friends you pick from your Friends list can join. Unless you open a world or a friend invites you, no data in this section is processed.

  • Invites: you can invite only mutual friends. When you open your world, our Friends server tells only the friends you invited that it is open and what they need to join (connection addresses and a key for each friend). While the session lasts, it keeps the session number, its connection addresses, whom you invited and when, and the number of guests. It does not read or keep the keys. To prevent abuse, how many worlds you open and how many invites you send in a day, and that day's session numbers, are kept.
  • Connection: game traffic goes through the relay servers of e4mc, an independent open-source project, which are outside Turkey. When we turn on Cloudflare's TURN service (Cloudflare Realtime), traffic may also go through it. The relay service sees the IP addresses of the host and the guests, when they connect, how much data passes, the Minecraft version and which session a guest joins, and keeps its own logs. The game traffic is encrypted end to end between the launchers, so it cannot see its content. You never see your friends' IP addresses, and they never see yours. e4mc publishes no privacy policy. e4mc project page, Cloudflare Privacy Policy
  • Usage limits: while TURN is on, TURN use is counted so that we stay within Cloudflare's free allowance. The usage records at Cloudflare carry no name or account. They carry an alias that changes every billing period and cannot be matched to you without our key, and a session number. Cloudflare keeps them for its own retention period. To spot abuse, staff see the sessions that use the most, by alias only. Our record of which player each alias belongs to, and your TURN use in that period, are deleted within 2 days after the period ends. Each player's daily and monthly use is worked out only for the limits.
  • Connection health: to see whether connections work, the launcher sends these measurements while you share a world or play in one: which path and step were tried, whether you are the host or a guest, success or the error code, rough durations and latency, the relay region, path changes, the number of guests, the amount of data relayed, and the Minecraft and launcher versions. They carry no name, IP address or world name. Our server adds them to totals at once without keeping who sent them. Five-minute totals are kept for 2 hours, hourly totals for 30 days. The amount of data relayed over TURN is counted against your account for the usage limits. This is the only usage data the launcher sends.
  • Your world and your guests: your world and your guests' game data (inventory, position) stay on your computer. When a guest joins, their launcher sends the host, over the encrypted connection, their in-game name, whether they play with a Microsoft account, their launcher and Minecraft versions and the list of mods in their installation. The host sees each guest by friend name and in-game name. So that no one else can join with a friend's in-game name, which name belongs to which friend, and when it last joined, is kept in the world's folder, as a digest made for that computer instead of a Discord ID. Mojang checks the identity of friends who join with a Microsoft account, as the game always does. For mods the pack does not list, the launcher looks up those files' hashes on Modrinth, and guests download the same versions from Modrinth. Chat and what happens in the world never reach our servers.
  • Launcher log: the launcher writes to its own log file when a session opens and closes, which in-game names guests join and leave with, and connection codes. This log stays on your computer. IP addresses, connection addresses and keys are never written to it.
  • Deleting: a session's details and its invites are deleted when it closes. If a connection drops, its TURN credentials stop working within 2 hours at the latest. The daily counts and the day's session numbers are deleted the next night (if a session is still open then, the night after it closes). "Delete my data" in the launcher and deleting your account also delete the alias record and the counts. The usage records at Cloudflare stay for Cloudflare's retention period. The files in the world's folder stay on your computer, and you delete them with the world.

24/7 Cloud (optional paid service)

This section applies only if you use 24/7 Cloud. 24/7 Cloud is a paid service that runs your AFK accounts on our AFK server even while your computer is off; you use it on afk.projects.gg or on the launcher's AFK page.

  • Sign-in: you sign in with Discord (basic profile only). This uses your Friends account, or creates one (with the data in that section). Your session on the site shows in your sessions list with your browser and operating system instead of a device name; its token is kept in a cookie in your browser, and the session is deleted after 90 days without use.
  • mc.projects.gg link: your mc.projects.gg user ID and username. To link them, your account is looked up on mc.projects.gg with your Discord ID, or we sign in there once with your username and password; your password, two-factor code, IP address and browser details are passed to mc.projects.gg in that one request only, and we never store or log them. The link is kept until you remove it or until you have had no cloud account for 12 months.
  • Payments: order number, plan, amount, date, the account name, the paying mc.projects.gg user's ID and name, your credit before and after, refunds and time added to accounts. The credit is taken from your mc.projects.gg account, and refunds go back to it. Your 24/7 Cloud records of orders, refunds, time added, gifts and coupons are deleted 2 years after they were made. Removing the mc.projects.gg link doesn't change that. The record of the payment itself stays in mc.projects.gg's credit records for as long as the law requires.
  • Your cloud accounts: account name, server address, game version and language, commands, triggers, auto-reply rules and, if you give it, your own in-game name (for rules that answer only you). Commands you mark as secret (login, register and password commands are secret by default) are encrypted in your browser or the launcher and opened only on our AFK server, to run the account; our site, our database and our staff never see them in plain text. A cloud account and its settings are deleted at most 90 days (30 days now) after its time runs out, or when you delete it.
  • Activity logs: your account's console output (including chat and messages from the server it joins), with passwords hidden, kept on our AFK server for at most 7 days (3 days now). You see them; Projects staff see them only for support and to look into abuse, and every view is logged. When the account first got into a server (for refunds) and its last stop reason (for example, banned from the server) are kept with the account too.
  • Staff and bans: Projects staff with 24/7 Cloud permissions see your cloud accounts and their settings (at most the first word of a secret command), your orders and your mc.projects.gg link. What staff do (stopping accounts, adding time, refunds and the like) goes into the staff log. So does each time you reveal one of your secret commands with "Show", never the command itself. Each entry is deleted 2 years after it was made. A ban from 24/7 Cloud is deleted 1 year after it ends, an open-ended one when it is lifted.
  • Notifications: you choose which notifications you get for your cloud accounts (an account stopped, its time running out, for AFK+ accounts also an item found, an approval waiting and the like) and your quiet hours. A notification first goes to your launcher or app while one is open. If neither is connected, or an approval request isn't seen in time, it goes through our Friends server and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to your phone. For that you need to have allowed notifications in the phone app. It carries your Discord ID (with version 0.4.5 or later of the app, a tag unique to that phone that can't be turned back into your ID instead), the account's ID and in-game name, the event's details (such as why an account stopped) and, for AFK+ accounts, items, quantities and amounts or the weekly totals. It never carries the other player's name or a message text. Your choices are kept until you delete your cloud data. If you have no cloud account left, they are deleted 1 year after you last changed them. If you also turned on notifications in a browser, the notification goes to the browser as well (see Browser notifications below).
  • Browser notifications: If you turn on notifications for afk.projects.gg in a browser (on an iPhone, in the app you added to the Home Screen), we keep its notification address and encryption keys, your notification language and the day you turned them on or got the last one, all linked to your account, only to send you notifications. A notification goes encrypted to the notification service your browser uses (Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft). A notification holds only a short title, one line and the page it opens, with no account name or amount. The service can't read them, but it does see that projects.gg sent you a notification, and when. You can turn notifications off at any time with the "Get notifications" switch on the Notifications page or in your browser's settings (on an iPhone, the phone's Settings). This information is deleted when you turn off "Get notifications", sign out in that browser or delete your cloud data, or when the service reports that the address is no longer valid. If you turned notifications off in the settings, the information is deleted when we next try to send you one. If you have no cloud account, the information of a browser that gets no notification for 12 months is deleted too.
  • Shared with: Cloudflare (the site and the database); the hosting company we rent our AFK server's machine from (activity logs are kept on that machine); mc.projects.gg (link, balance, charges and refunds; its own privacy policy applies); the Minecraft server your account joins (it sees the account name, our AFK server's IP address and everything the account sends; that server's own rules and privacy policy apply); Mojang (the game's language files are downloaded, no personal data is sent). The pictures of player heads in the inventory load straight from Mojang's texture server, so Mojang sees your IP address.
  • Deleting: "Delete my cloud data" in the account menu on afk.projects.gg deletes all your cloud accounts, their settings, your mc.projects.gg link and your counters; remaining paid time is not refunded (the refund terms are separate). "Verilerimi sil" (delete my data) under Friends does not delete your 24/7 Cloud data, it only signs you out of the site; the two are separate.
  • What stays after deleting: your 24/7 Cloud records of orders, refunds, time added, gifts and coupons stay and are deleted 2 years after they were made. The record of the payment itself stays in mc.projects.gg's credit records for as long as the law requires. The staff log and moderation cases stay until their own time runs out, with an irreversible digest of your Discord ID in place of the ID itself. The record of a 24/7 Cloud ban, however, keeps your Discord ID so that the ban still applies if you come back. It is deleted 1 year after the ban ends, or when an open-ended ban is lifted.

AFK+ (24/7 Cloud's paid AI assistant)

This section applies if you use AFK+, chat with an AFK+ account or write in public chat on a server where an AFK+ account is. AFK+ adds an AI assistant called ProBot AI to a 24/7 Cloud account. On whichever server the account is on, ProBot AI reads the private messages the account gets there, answers them by its owner's rules, negotiates within the owner's limits, and tells the owner what it found and what needs their OK. If the owner wants, ProBot AI also makes the trade. On servers where it doesn't recognise the trade window, the owner makes the trade. When sincerely asked, ProBot AI says it is AI and never claims to be human. A tag before its messages (such as [AFK+]) is the owner's setting and is off by default. The points below apply on every server.

  • Sent to the AI provider: so that ProBot AI can answer, the latest messages of the conversation, the short introduction and status texts the account's owner wrote, the item and quantity being discussed, both sides' latest offers, the items of the account's active orders and the price choices our system prepared for that answer are sent to our AI provider Anthropic (USA). When the owner adds an order by typing what they want, that text is sent too, with any prices in it, to turn it into an order. The introduction and status texts are also sent to check that they are appropriate. Before anything is sent, the names of the other player, the account and the players online on the server at the time are replaced with aliases. Other names in the text go as written. Links, e-mail addresses and phone, bank, card and ID numbers are removed.
  • Never sent: public chat messages (except in a complaint review), Discord IDs, IP addresses, login commands, passwords, secret commands, the owner's budget, balance and whole inventory, and the items in a trade window. ProBot AI is never told the owner's highest or lowest price as a limit. The price choices prepared for an answer can reach it. If the owner typed these prices into an order's text, they also go with that text.
  • Providers: only Anthropic and Google may be used, and we update this page before we use any other provider. Anthropic does not use this content to train its models and keeps it for at most 30 days (except for abuse checks and legal obligations). We use Google's Gemini service only if we turn it on. Then the same data, in the same form, may also be sent to Google (USA). On its paid service Google does not use this content to improve its products, and keeps it for a limited time only to detect abuse. Anthropic Privacy Policy, Gemini API terms
  • Kept on our AFK server: conversations (with phone numbers, e-mail addresses and links masked) for at most 14 days. What ProBot AI remembers about a player (a digest of their name, counts of trades, cancellations and suspicious behaviour, recent prices) is deleted 30 days after the last contact. Our system reads ads in public chat. When an ad matches an item the owner is looking for, the writer's name goes into the activity feed and ProBot AI's memory, and ProBot AI may send them a private message. The activity feed and action log are kept for 7 days, the steps of each deal (with the account's balance before and after the trade) for 90 days, the AI credit counters for 35 days and the daily counters for 40 days.
  • Kept in our database: trades (item, quantity, price, the other player's in-game name, time, outcome and the account's balance before and after the trade) for 90 days. Incidents (for example, attempts to trick ProBot AI, and complaints: the other player's in-game name, a short summary and masked evidence) are kept for 90 days after they are closed, usage counts per account (no content) for 100 days. Records of AI credit gifts, AI credit packs you bought and AI credit resets are deleted 2 years after they were made. The record of a pack with AI credits left stays until your cloud account is deleted. The record of the payment itself stays in mc.projects.gg's credit records for as long as the law requires. Approval requests are deleted 24 hours after they close. Your AFK+ settings (with your orders, the order texts you typed and your friends and blocked lists) and their last 10 versions are deleted with your cloud account. A removal from AFK+ is deleted 1 year after it ends, an open-ended one when it is lifted.
  • Who sees it: the account's owner sees at most the last 7 days of conversations (with the other player's real in-game name, and phone numbers, e-mail addresses and links masked), their trades and approval requests. The owner's launcher, phone and browser keep what they showed for at most 7 days. If the owner writes an answer from the site, the launcher or the phone, it goes in game as the owner's own words, with no tag. Projects staff see AFK+ settings (except the order texts you typed), AI credit use, trades and incidents for support, and every change they make to AI credits is logged. Only staff with that permission open conversations and incident evidence, when looking into abuse, and every view is logged. No staff member can see more than the first word of a secret command, and ProBot AI never gets them.
  • Complaints: you can report an AFK+ account on afk.projects.gg/sikayet without signing in. The account's name, the time and your text (with phone numbers, e-mail addresses, bank details and links masked) reach staff as an incident. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, and your IP address is sent to Cloudflare for that check. For the complaint limit we keep a digest of your IP address made with a secret key, never the address itself, and delete it by the next day at the latest.
  • AI screening of complaints: if we turn it on, an AI looks at your complaint first. For this, your complaint, at most 30 lines from the reported account's console and the account's AFK+ incidents from the same span are sent to our AI provider Anthropic (USA). The lines are from 10 minutes before to 2 minutes after the time you chose in the complaint, and they include public chat and private messages with the account. Before sending, the names of the account and of the players speaking in the lines are replaced with aliases, but a name typed as an ordinary word inside a text can stay. Links keep only their domain, and IP addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses and bank details are hidden. Looking only at what the account itself wrote, the AI can warn the account or pause its ProBot AI for up to 24 hours. The pause ends by itself when its time is up and is not part of the 72-hour review in the 24/7 Cloud moderation section. The account itself keeps running meanwhile. If the account's lines do not show what the complaint says, the AI can close the complaint. It can do nothing else and leaves any complaint it is unsure about to staff. Its decision and a short reason are kept with the complaint. For a warning or a pause, your complaint and these lines are also kept as a case copy, as described in the 24/7 Cloud moderation section. Staff see every decision and can undo it at any time. The account's owner sees a warning or pause that is applied and can appeal it. Complaints about the same account from the same IP address count once a day.
  • Deleting: "Delete my cloud data" on afk.projects.gg also deletes your AFK+ settings, your trades, your usage counts, closed incidents, and the conversations, activity feed and ProBot AI's memory on our AFK server. Incidents under review are deleted 90 days after they close. Other records (such as AI credit gifts, packs and resets, and removals from AFK+) stay until their own time runs out. If you chatted with an AFK+ account and want your data from those chats deleted, write your in-game name and the time span to [email protected].

24/7 Cloud moderation

This section applies only if you use 24/7 Cloud. To keep cloud accounts from being used for spam, advertising, scams or harassment, and to protect other players and servers, we check accounts with automated rules, with AI where needed, and with reviews by staff.

  • What is checked: the texts in your cloud accounts' settings (commands, triggers and auto-replies) are checked with automated rules when you save them, and the lines you type into the console on the site or in the launcher when you send them; our AFK server checks the stored settings with the same rules. Warnings and penalties the game server gives the account (mutes, kicks, bans) and how many lines the account sends in an hour are part of the checks too. What others write to your account never counts against you.
  • Secret commands: login, register and password commands are never read. Other commands you mark as secret are checked with the same rules only on our AFK server, without anyone seeing them in plain text; only the result leaves it.
  • Moderation cases: when a check finds something suspicious, a case is opened. It keeps the kind of suspicion (for example, advertising), penalties from the game server, the decisions made, your appeal and the dates. It also keeps a copy of the lines concerned and of at most 30 console lines from the 10 minutes before (including server messages and what other players wrote). E-mail addresses and phone, bank, card and ID numbers are hidden in the copy; in-game names and links stay, and a secret command shows only as "secret line".
  • Who sees it: Projects staff with 24/7 Cloud moderation permissions review cases in our management app, Projects Studio. Only those with an additional permission can open the full copy of the lines, and every view is logged. The staff-only channel on our Discord server gets a summary of the case through our bot: the account's in-game name and server, the case's kind and status, the number of violations in the last 180 days and at most 3 lines the account wrote to public chat. Private messages and what others wrote never go there, and a closed case's card is deleted from the channel after 24 hours. Cases about the server owner's or staff members' own accounts are seen only by the server owner.
  • Decisions and appeals: as a result of these checks a command may not be saved or may be paused, your account may get a warning, or the account's AFK+ assistant or the account itself may be stopped. Decisions also count the recent cases of your cloud accounts linked to the same Discord account. Only a staff member can decide to remove you from 24/7 Cloud. You are told about every decision; if you allowed notifications in the phone app, the notice also reaches your phone through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, with the account's name and the kind of decision but not the lines themselves. You can appeal on afk.projects.gg within 7 days of a decision; a staff member reviews the appeal and answers within 3 days. A staff member also reviews any automatic stop within 72 hours, even if you do not appeal.
  • AI checks: new texts you save and, in suspicious cases, the lines concerned may be sent to our AI provider Anthropic (USA) for review. Before that, player names are replaced with aliases (a name typed as an ordinary word inside a text can stay); e-mail and IP addresses and phone, bank, card and ID numbers are removed, and links are cut down to their domain. Login commands, passwords, secret commands, server addresses, your Discord ID and your mc.projects.gg details are never sent. Anthropic does not use this content to train its models and keeps it for at most 30 days (except for abuse checks and legal obligations). AI alone can never stop your account. Anthropic Privacy Policy
  • Retention: the copy of the lines is deleted 90 days after the case is closed. The case's summary without content (kind, decisions, dates and outcome) is deleted 1 year after it is closed, so repeated violations can be seen. For a case found to be wrong, an irreversible digest of the text is kept for 1 year so the same text does not open a case again. Decisions and staff actions also go into 24/7 Cloud's staff log and are kept for 2 years.
  • Deleting: when a cloud account is deleted, its cases are detached from it. "Delete my cloud data" also replaces your Discord ID in your cases and in 24/7 Cloud's staff log with an irreversible digest of it. The records are deleted on the schedule above, and if you come back with the same Discord account, your earlier cases still count.

Android app

Our Android app (Projects Launcher, version 0.2.0 and later) is based on the open-source Amethyst (PojavLauncher) app and runs Minecraft on your phone. Its source code is public: github.com/projects-gg/projects-mobile (LGPL-3.0). Friends and crews are in this app too: it uses the same service as the desktop app, and the Friends section above applies to it as well. When you sign in, the session token stays on your phone, in a folder of the app that is not backed up. Showing your game activity on Discord is not part of this app.

  • The app does not collect or send telemetry, analytics, usage data or crash reports.
  • Unless you turn on Friends, the app sends no personal data to our servers; it only downloads public files from them.
  • Your accounts and sessions stay on your phone.
  • Accounts: your Microsoft account's session tokens and your username accounts are kept in the app's own folder on your phone; other apps on the phone cannot read that folder. Microsoft sign-in happens inside the app, on Microsoft's own page.
  • Other data that stays on your phone: settings, profiles, the news cache, event reminders and which news you have read. The game folder (worlds, mods, screenshots, the game log) is in the phone's storage; on Android 10 and older, other apps with the storage permission can see it too.
  • The game log: it also contains your device model and the app version. It goes only to the app you choose, and only if you share it.
  • Our servers: news, events, the official modpack and the recommended mods are downloaded from our content servers (cdn.projects.gg, feed.projects.gg and projects.gg, on Cloudflare) or from our backup mirror on GitHub. In these requests the app only reports its own version number; no account data or usage data is sent. As with any internet connection, your IP address is visible to this infrastructure.
  • Minecraft servers: "Join Projects" connects the game to our play.projects.gg server. The game sends your player name and account ID to the server it joins, as Minecraft normally does.
  • Permissions: internet (for downloads and the game); notifications (for event reminders, finished downloads, friend requests, invites and crew calls; on Android 13 and later the app asks for it); setting reminders again after a restart and ringing them on time; the microphone (only if you turn it on in Settings, for voice chat mods in the game); storage for the game folder on Android 9 and older.

The app contacts the following services only for the purposes listed. Data sent to them is subject to their own privacy policies.

  • Microsoft and Xbox Live: to sign in with your Microsoft account, renew the session and get your Minecraft license and profile. Sign-in tokens are sent only to Microsoft, Xbox and Minecraft services. Microsoft Privacy Statement
  • Mojang (Minecraft): to download game versions, libraries and game files, and your Microsoft account's skin (textures.minecraft.net) for its head in the account list. No personal data is sent. If you choose BMCLAPI as the download source in Settings, the game files come from that mirror. Minecraft privacy page
  • Modrinth: to download the mods of the official modpack and their icons, and to search with the text you type in the app's modpack search. Modrinth Privacy Policy
  • GitHub: our backup mirror for content and mod files is on GitHub. The Java some Minecraft versions need is downloaded from AngelAuraMC's builds on GitHub. GitHub General Privacy Statement
  • Mod loaders and library repositories (Fabric, Quilt, Forge, NeoForge, OptiFine, Better Than Adventure, Maven Central): to download the mod loader you choose and the libraries it needs. No personal data is sent.
  • Discord: only if you use Friends. You sign in on Discord's own page in the browser; "Discord'dan mesaj at" (message on Discord) opens your friend's Discord profile. Discord Privacy Policy
  • Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging): only if you signed in to Friends, for phone notifications. The app gets your phone's notification address from Google, and notifications arrive through this service; what Google receives is in the Friends section. The app uses only Firebase's messaging part, with analytics off. Google Privacy Policy
